Maths DLO

Last week for for we did timing the fraction by a number for eg: 21 x 1/4 so first you find out how many times the numerator goes into the number so 4 goes into 21 5 times and there is one extra quarter so the answer is 5 1/4. Another eg: 13 x 1/3 is 4 1/3

Last week for Maths we learnt about Fractions and what they are in a Decimal. For Example 1/4 is 0.25 in a decimal. Another Example is 4/5 is 0.8. So, 3/4, if 1/4 is 0.25 that means that 0.25 x 3 = 0.75.

Last week for maths we learnt about fractions, decimals, and percentages.
What is a Fraction:
A fraction is a number over another number. A Denominator and Numerator. eg: 1/2, 3/4 , 6/10
What is a Percentage:
A percent of a full number for eg: 36%, 78%
What is a decimal:
A decimal is a number with a decimal point for example: 1.5, 5.2, 6.7

Today I made a Maths DLO about Place Value with double digits.

Music Skills

KeyBoard: One thing I liked about playing Keyboard was getting to play some of my favourite songs. I learnt the start of Changes: XXXTentacion, Despacito: Danny Yankee, Luis Fonsi and Justin Bieber and See You Again: Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth.
One thing that was challenging was just using my right hand to play.

Guitar:
Challenging: Switching Chords eg: A Minor - E Minor. I found that when strumming it really hurt the part I was strumming with.

I think the Valedictorian is in a great mindset. I think he is being great to his classmates. We really need more people like this in this world. So overall this teen is a great person and GG to him.
