Hazard Identification & Action
A hazard can be described as anything that could cause you and others any form of harm.
A hazard that can cause you serious harm is described as significant.
Once a significant hazard has been determined the school must take “all practical steps” to eliminate, isolate or minimize the significant hazard.
Safety Signage
Here are some examples : Identify the sign, Describe what it means ,Explain what action you would take

Slippery when wet- be careful where I walk. |
No phones - no phones allowed - not use my phone. |

Fire hose reel - shows where a fire hose reel is located if a fire broke out - I would look for one of these signs to find a hose. |
Eyewash station - somewhere to wash your eyes if you get something in them - If I got chemicals in my eyes I would go to this station. |

Earmuffs - you must wear earmuffs - I would wear my ear muffs. |
Construction site - means to keep away if unauthorized to stay safe - I would stay away unless I was authorized. |
