In art for the last few weeks we have been working on lino prints. I first drew a bird on a piece of paper. Then I transferred it to a piece of lino, traced it and started cutting it out. First I cut out the outline of the bird and printed my first colour. I started with my lightest colour which was yellow. After I printed yellow I cut some more out and printed my next colour which was a dark green. Then for my final colour I cut some more out. My final colour was brown, this is my Final product,
One thing I could improve is the lining up on the prints and making sure they are in line.

Hi Rykin, It's good to see your 3-Colour Reduction Print. The registration can be difficult. I like the texture you create in the Mōhua bird. Did you consider leaving more yellow in the bird's body or head? Thanks for describing the process and sharing your reflection. Good work. Mr. Collins
